Christmas Tree Brownies Recipe of 22-12-2015 [Updated on 07-02-2018]
The Christmas tree brownies are the first Christmas Edition dessert I made this year, but the last to be released before Christmas. It is a classic chocolate dough that is cut into a triangular shape and decorated as if to look like a tree. This year the girls here in the office gave me a great hand in making all the decorations of the recipes that I made and we really had a lot of fun. Today, on the other hand, I put everyone "under the strain" because we organized, as every year, the Christmas lunch by inviting the guys from Ivano's office, there will be 16 so I leave you to imagine what to do;) So I leave you to the recipe of these cute sapling brownies and we will read you later with the video recipe, so as to make the task even easier;) Basins and have a good day: *

BROWNIES CHRISTMAS TREES
- 100 g of dark chocolate
- 125 g of butter
- 100 g of brown sugar
- 75 g of flour & # 822000 & # 8221
- 20 g of bitter cocoa
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- pieces of salt
- 30 g of egg white
- 150 g of powdered sugar
- a few drops of lemon
- green food coloring to taste
Let's start by lighting the oven at 180 °.
Put the butter and the chopped chocolate in a saucepan and melt over a low flame, when we have a liquid mixture we set aside to dilute.
In a large bowl, work the sugar with the eggs with an electric whisk, add the sifted flour and yeast, a pinch of salt and finally the sifted bitter cocoa.
Now we also add the chocolate and butter to our mixture, mixing carefully.
We line a baking tray with parchment paper (in my case 30 & # 21540) and pour the mixture.
Before baking, we level the surface.
In the oven for about 35-40 minutes (do the toothpick test).
Once the cake is cooked we let it cool before cutting it.
At this point I simply divided the rectangle into three parts and made some triangles, but if you have molds in the shape of a tree the result will be better!
We just have to decorate them to taste and imagination, in my case I used the colored royal icing and some colored sugar balls.
For the royal icing (you can use half of the ingredients for this recipe) whip the egg white until stiff with a few drops of lemon and add the sifted icing sugar several times, when we have finished all the sugar add the green coloring (in gel or dust).
We put our royal icing in a cone of parchment paper or pastry bag and decorate our little trees.
If you want to give an extra touch, cut a straw into sticks of 4-5 cm and tuck under the & # 8220alberelli & # 8221.
Our Christmas tree brownies are ready!
We just have to eat them in company and share these moments of pleasure.
Christmas Tree Brownies - Recipes
This year Christmas is coming a little quietly, many parties and gatherings, especially in the military, have been postponed or canceled due to the attacks of 13 November. So basically my dwarfs have lost a bit of go û ter, earning it in afternoons of sleep (usually they are always done in the period of their Wednesday siesta), while I have saved myself a lot of cakes and sweets on the Christmas theme that with the third dwarf just arrived it is not that I regret so much, even if generally I love this kind of commitment very much.
But if there is one thing that has not been eliminated it is the sale of cakes at school on Friday afternoon and this week it was the turn of the sections of my two dwarfs and on several occasions I managed to do these chocolate brownies and nuts in Christmas disguises!
Seen on the terrible Pinterest, which keeps me glued to the screen for hours taking ideas on ideas for my dishes that I don't know if a lifetime will be enough to try them all, I thought that they would be very appreciated by children, both because of chocolate and because they are decorated and indeed it was.
They are not difficult and can be adapted to what you have at home or you can buy: you can make a simple chocolate cake, use licorice sticks or Christmas candy (the red and white sticks to be clear) for the trunk, colored icing or food pens for the garlands, any type of decoration for the balls and the star, whether you want to make them yourself or buy those already made. In short, indulge yourself and run out of stocks you have aside as I did P.
00 flour 150g
Salt a pinch
1/2 sachet yeast
Dark chocolate 200g
Sugar 200g + homemade vanilla sugar 50g
Melt the butter and chocolate over a very low heat.
Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt.
Mix the melted butter and chocolate with the sugar.
Add the eggs, one by one.
Finally add the flour and coarsely chopped walnuts.
I used the Guardini FetteXfette mold that was sent to me centuries ago and that I used too little, given how beautiful and precise the slices are! In this case, he saves a lot of work by giving me trees all the same!
To decorate, wait for the brownies to cool well and insert the trunk first, paying attention to any nuts
You can really indulge yourself and the better you are manually, the better they will succeed!
An extra touch: the candle that will make this dish truly Christmas :)

Once cold, with the help of a knife we cut the cake creating triangles, more or less all of the same size. We put the togo (or other biscuits, similar in shape) at the base of our triangles to create the trunk of the tree.
At this point, green light to the imagination!

Brownies Christmas trees
Christmas is upon us, so it's time to prepare the tree! I have already proposed the “Vol-au-vet Christmas Tree”, the “Saplings of Potatoes”, the “Profiteroles Christmas Tree”. Today it's up to Brownies, the typical and very chocolaty American sweets. The classic shape of the Brownies is square. In the recipe that I propose instead, they take on the sweetest and most delicious Christmas air, turning into cheerful and colorful Christmas trees. The "Christmas Trees Brownies" are as tender and fragrant as Christmas is tender and fragrant. Preparing them is simple and fun and the end result is really “wow”! For the decoration I used dark chocolate, Smarties and colored sugars but you can have fun customizing them according to your imagination. Maybe by preparing one different from the other. For example, you can use white chocolate instead of dark chocolate to make garlands. In this way you will create a dramatic color contrast. Another very tasty and cute idea is to sprinkle the tip of the tree with powdered sugar to obtain a beautiful and delicate snow effect. Also this year a delicious Christmas tree to serve is ready. So I just have to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
- Dark Chocolate 200g
- Butter 130g
- 160g sugar
- Eggs 2
- Bitter Cocoa 40g
- Yeast for desserts 5g
- Flour 50g
- Smarties to taste
- Togo biscuits to taste
- Colored sugars to taste
Start the preparation by melting the butter and 150g of dark chocolate in a bain-marie. Set aside and let it cool.
Whip Eggs and Sugar
In a bowl, place the eggs and sugar. Work them with the electric whisk for a couple of minutes.
Add the melted chocolate and continue mixing. Sift the yeast, cocoa and flour, then add them a little at a time to the mixture.
Grease and flour a rectangular mold of about 20x15cm. Pour the mixture into the mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 30 minutes.
Cut down the trees
Once the Brownies is cooked, let it cool completely then place it on a cutting board and make 3 triangles with a knife.
Melt the remaining 50g of dark chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave, then place it in a piping bag. All the elements are ready and start decorating the Christmas trees. Place the Brownies triangle on a flat surface. With the melted chocolate make strips to which you will attach the Smarties and the sugars. Finally, insert into the base of a Togo biscuit.
To get a perfect result, my advice is to turn the Brownies upside down and decorate the smooth side. As for the decoration, on the other hand, make room for your imagination. For example, for garlands, you can use white chocolate instead of dark chocolate. In this way you will create a dramatic contrast. Another idea is to sprinkle the tip of the tree with powdered sugar to obtain a beautiful and delicate snow effect. Brownies Christmas trees can be kept closed in a tin box or wrapped in silver paper for 3 or 4 days.
